To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re shining the spotlight on the inspirational women leading the pet health revolution at Healthy Pets. From dedicated, expert veterinarians to our pioneering founder and CEO – the women of Healthy Pets are trailblazing role models in the veterinary and pet health industries.

Fun fact – nearly 70% of our current Healthy Pets vets are women!

Emma Harris – Our leader and the driving force behind Healthy Pets, Emma is Healthy Pets’ founder, CEO, and resident Dragon Slayer. As a dedicated pet-parent, Emma built Healthy Pets to improve the process of vet care for clients, vets, and – of course – pets! She is our visionary and our champion, working every day to ensure Healthy Pets continues to provide pet parents with reliable and trustworthy on-demand vet care!

Dr. Brenda Taylor – As Healthy Pets’ Director of Veterinary Operations, Dr. Taylor directs all aspects of veterinary involvement at Healthy Pets. She is also a practicing veterinarian and owner of Highway 24 Veterinary Clinic in Guelph, Ontario. Believing strongly in the human-animal bond, Dr. Taylor joined Healthy Pets because she believes in the value of telemedicine to help all pets and pet parents receive the comprehensive care that they need and deserve.

Faizah Haleem – A graduate of the Master of Health Informatics program at the University of Toronto, Faizah is Healthy Pets’ meticulous, laser-focussed Product Manager. Faizah has experience in the healthcare industry in areas including health technology innovation, patient-engagement, clinical research, mental health, psychology, public health, and health policy. Everyday Faizah works to improve and streamline our design and user experience, making Healthy Pets beautiful and functional for all our users.

Arlene Dickinson – Perhaps best known as one of Canada’s most renowned independent marketing and communications entrepreneurs, Arlene Dickinson is both an investor and board member of Healthy Pets. Throughout her career, Arlene has established herself as an industry and media powerhouse as CEO of Venture Communications, CEO of District Ventures Capital, and of course as a Dragon on CBC’s Dragons’ Den. Arlene has earned a reputation for empowering entrepreneurs and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise as a trusted advisor of Healthy Pets.
